ok i just bought a new chip and board...... its all set up

boots fine..... and goes into windows fine... everything works but.... i get occasional beeps from the onboard pc speaker..... and this is expesccially so when im doing some gaming.... here are specs

intel 2.4b, asus p4pe, ati 8500, 350 watts ps, cdrw, cdrom

The beeps could be the alarms indicating possible problem in your system, like CPU temperature is too high, or fans speed are too low, etc.

I haven't used an Asus board before, so the above is just my guessing.
