Those machines are hard to find, but guess what:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Fostex-B16-16-track-Reel-Recorder-Player-with-remote_W0QQitemZ250763028902QQcategoryZ15199QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286.m7QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D3%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D6663794568330134271

There's one. The B16 is on 1/2" tape, which the ad fails to mention, and which is why you may not have seen it if you were searching for 1/2" machines.

Other than that, good luck. That's the only 1/2" 16 track machine on Ebay at the moment. You can try pro audio shops, and maybe check the classifieds on gearslutz.com.

If you are getting it for transfers for old tapes, beware that those tapes should be prepped first- and further, it is best to find out what exact machine they were recorded on, and if possible, find the same machine. Slight differences in head alignment and exact tape track width can have ill effects on different record/playback machines.
