I put a cd game in computer and it does not read to install..How do i get the games to install.Have used install from control panel with no luck is there something that i should type in there?

Goto 'My Computer' right click on the CD drive, press open, click on the setup file.

This has prolly been disabled. Either that, or your CD drive is busted. What operating system are you on?

Like the man above said, "it's probably on it's last legs". I have that problem from time to time. I usually swap out drives til I find one that will run the dvd.

It's also the main reason I also never spend more than $25 for any of them any more. $100 doesn't get you better drives, and if you use them a lot they break down a lot. Nineteen bucks at newegg right now....maybe with free shipping.....good enough dude.

When the Blue Rays are $25 I'll start buying them too.....LOL
