Hi, I hope some one can offer me some help on my problem.

I have just decided to upgrade my system, I have bought the Gigabyte GA-7vxp M/B 512mb PC2700 ram, 128mb Ti4800 G/C.

I have kept my existing HD, WD40gb 7200rpm ATA100 and my CD-RW & DVD drive. I have spent most of this afternoon putting it together I have come to power it up and I get the following message.

MBUltra133 PCC20276 BIOS not installed because no drives detected. Then it goes onto a blue screen and gives some code.

The thing that is confusing me is that the bios is detecting the drives and everything because it shows them in the bios.

I hope someone can offer me some help.

thanks

Chris.

p.s. here is the code it displays

0x0000007B (0xF894D640, 0x00000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000

What I believe that means is that your RAID controller BIOS isn't being installed because you have no hard drives on it. If all your drives are on the standard IDE controller, you can disable the RAID controller and set the BOOT device in BIOS.

I'm going to assume you're running either win2k or win xp. The error message is because your hdd controller chip is different from the one you originally installed your os with. You can try a repair, but you'll probably need to reinstall your os.
