Hi
About a week ago my machine started beeping and refusing to boot. It was 1 long beep then 2 short and the screen stayed blank. At first I could just push reset once or twice and it would get past it but now every time I power up it does it.
Motherboard is a gigabyte 7vaxp
Have tried reseating video card, reseating/swaping memory.
The bios is "award modular bios v6.00 pg"

Acording to a few sites 1 long and 2 short beeps (on award bios) means video card problem. Does this mean I need a new video card? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike

1 long and 2 short beeps is your video card. if you tried reseating already then either the card has died or the agp slot has died. try to get hold of another card and put that in. if your system then works then your card is faulty. if it still beeps you need new motherboard

I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message.
