Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has seen or is aware of a compatibility problem
with an Intel 82540EM gigabit chip and a Linksys Wet11 version 2?

The symptoms: The ethernet chip will not connect to the Wet11 (The lan led
never lights)

The wet11 has been reset to it's defaults via the reset button on the
back, and has the latest version firmware. We've even tried using older
version 2.XX firmware, but it made no difference.

Observations:

1. The wet11 version 2 connects fine with a number of other ethernet NICs,
including a different Intel gigabit chip (82540EI)

2. The 82540EM chip connects and operates correctly with a version 1
Wet11.

We've tried 5 different version 2 Wet11 devices on three different 82540EM
parts - all with the same no connect problem.

I'm stuck. Anybody have any ideas?

Thank you!
