The game decides to close itself (unexpectedly) at the beginning of the first level, before you even do anything, when you are under the gated floor, underground somewhere.

Thanks for saying that (Don't start 2 threads on the same thing) because I did not realize that I did, but you should have at least gave me some advise to my question, instead of just telling me what I did wrong.
