Just got a card in the mail from a settlement administrator for cellular
phone insurer's class action lawsuit. Anyone else get one of these? What is
it all about and should I do anything about it?

If it's like most class action suits you probably will get next to
nothing and the lawyers will buy a spare Lexus with the money that
*they* get from the suit.

Something about lockline. I would reply that you *do not* want to
be part of the class. The lawyers fee will probably be determined
by headcount. Your settlement if you are part of the class will most
likely be minute. I believe if you withdraw from the class you can
sue individually if you think you've been wronged but cannot if you
are part of the class and don't agree with the settlement.

Well some people might want a check for $0.03 like I received for a similar
settlement. Dewey, Cheatum & Howe got $15,000,000 for their "work" though.

Exactly. For your $0.03 you waived your right to sue outside the
class action and Dewey, Cheatum & Howe got a few extra dollars
for representing you.
