Difficulty loading LiveCharts web page

When I was using Win98/ME I never had a problem accessing the Lycos streaming charts demo web page. Since I started using Win-XP when I go to the page there is no chart - just a large empty box with a smaller box containing an "X".

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

That weebsite tries to load a java applet, make sure that you have the Java Runtime Environment installed on your computer, available from java.com and see if it works then.
