ok, im thinking about signing up for World of Worcraft. and i know they got a 10-day free trial

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/bur [...] index.html

and i know Lich King got 10-day free trial as well

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/trial/wrath/splash.html

and i heard that when you buy the game it gives you 1 month free that's part of the package? if that's true can you... 1) play on BC for 10 days for free, 2) play on LK for 10 days for free, and then 3) spend 1 month more on the LK expansion you bought??? i already got BC and regular wow i bought...

thanks in advance!

You have to be lvl 58 for bc, and 68 for lk, if u can do that in 10-20 days more power to you.

58 for BC? you sure???

i can still play regular wow though right? or you must be upgraded to LK in order to play?

You can go out there lower but you need to be ported out there and you can't get any quests until 58 same with lk <68 no quests.
My partner lvl'd to 60 in 3 days with the buddy account bonuses but ppl say you can do it in 3-4 days, but you pretty much have to not sleep in that time....

that makes no sense. im talking about the US realms..

what you mean i cant get quests until 58??? when you create a draenei/blood elf you start from level 1 you mean to say that i cant level by questing until im 58??? and what if i create a night elf or any old races i cant quest till im 58??? huh? and with death night lets say you make one at 55 if you got a char thats 55.. you saying i cant level with quests till im 68??

im really confused.

this should fix your confusion.

quests for levels 1-60 = Original World of Warcraft.
quests for levels 58-70 = Burning Crusade Expansion (yay neon green clown suits)
quests for levels 68-80 = Wrath of the Lich King Expansion.

they are saying its possible for you to actually visit the expansion content if you have the appropriate trial from level 1. just that you cant actually do any of the expansion content quests because you will be to low level. (can't do a Burning crusade quest at level 1)

fact - trial account characters DO NOT carry over from trial to trial.

it' s best to just get a Lich king trial and then activate it as a full acount if you decide to subscribe.

thanks Oza..

will i be able to buy lich king, then use that dvd to get a 10 day free trial and then subscribe afterwards?

also, when you buy the game in store do they still give you the 1 month subscription with the game itself?

if you buy the game you get 1 month free. but you dont get the 10 day trial. you can download the 10 day trial from blizzard . so the best way to maximize your "free" time is ...

10 day trial -> buy game keys (1 month free) -> start subcription

i can't access blizzards website from work, so you may want to read up on any deals you can get... more than likely you can buy classic wow and burning crusade as a battle chest (combo pack) at a discounted price. then upgrade to lich king.

so its going to cost you a tad more to get you started (in retail boxes/keys)if you decide to go beyond the 10 day trial.

if i was you i would do some heavy reading on blizzards website in regards to starting the game.

it is important to understand you are considering buying 3 keys. 2 expansions one core game.

i already have battlechest and bought it 1 year ago. i tried to play wow but my Linksys WRT54G router wouldnt connect to my wireless card so i gave up. and the 10 day free trial along with my "free" 30 days that came with the game eventually expired without me even creating a char. i did create an account though.

as far as i know they solved the problem with linksys modems but not exactly sure.

damn, i gotta do some research on that as well too.

Ok another piece of information they left out. 10 day free trial, max level = 20. They won't let you level higher. You can not wisper people, friend people, or trade with people. These last ones were done because of Gold Sellers annoying all the ingame players. Try out the 1-20. If you like it, upgrade it and play to 60. If you still like it buy the 2 expansions.
