What's Faster? P4 2.43/w/SINXP or MSI K7N2G/w/2500

OK...Let's settle this. Who has the math to prove which one of these combos out did the other one? Other than the above mentioned combos imagine all the other elements are the same.

DDR 3200
ATI Radeon 9700 pro
blah blah blah....

Please don't talk smack or argue. Just post the numbers and for what tests. The cost differential of both competitors is minimal. So price is not an issue.

Hm... there is no 2.43Ghz P4. Which makes me think you´re actually talking about the 2.53Ghz P4. In that case, (check <A HREF="http://www.tomshardware.com/cpu/20030210/index.html" target="_new">benchmarks</A>, if you like) the 2.53Ghz P4 is probably the winner, <i>if</i> used on the "mighty old" i850E... The SINXP should be a roughly equal performer, overall - maybe just slightly slower...

There is no <i>obvious</i> winner there, at least according to my math, but I think the 2.53Ghz will probably turn out to be faster... And if you actually were talking about the 2.4Ghz, and not the 2.53Ghz, then I think the 2500+ will be faster.

Without benchmarks you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Both systems would have no problem running the same apps.
