Activision vs EA: Let the Brutal Fight Begin

In the Red Corner we have EA, and in the Blue Corner we have Activision, with a take all prize being Double Fine's Brutal Legend.

"A couple of years ago we thought we had heard the end of Double Fine when Activision had married Vivendi."
"I remember that Joe. The executives of Activision had decided to tell all those Developers who were trying to make it in the ring that it was over. That anything that wasn't "franchise potential" was to get the hell out."

"So here we are today Bob with Double Fine refusing to leave the arena."

"Yep, it sounded just like Jack Black getting a wedgie. It seemed like the Brutal Legend Belt was going to be headed into the gaming black hole of the abyss."
"But it wasn't over yet, folks. Take a look at this. In a startling move Double Fine manages to crawl to the side and tags EA in. EA leaps off the top ropes and blind sides Activision with a power house hook to the jaw, and just proceeds to just throttle the Orc like Juggernaut with a Spore squishy doll. Activision manages to throw in a late breaking DRM choke hold but it fails. EA has picked up Activision and... Oh this is just horriable folks. It's like a Pirate having to walk the Plank into a sea of rampaging fanboys."
"I have to agree with you, Bob. I just see how he can get back in after that kind of pounding. Activision is out of here."

"It seems that Double Fine and EA will rule the ring and that will be that.... but wait... What's that?
"Oh my God, Joe. It's Activision and he has just came roaring out with the Contract Violater. Folks, we have not seen the Contract Violater for some time and boy does he look fit."
