Hi,
A friend of mine has a HP PSC 2105 All-in-One and until recently it worked
fine. Nothing changed to computerconfiguration or installed programs. Now
the printer won't print. I've tried to do a scan and that works fine. I've
reïnstalled the drivers and took the latest drivers from the internet. The
OS is XP. Installation of the driver went well, the computer recognized the
printer and asked for the right driver.
Again, scanning works, but the printer doesn't want to print. If you send a
printtask, the task is pending in the windows printermonitor. It won't
start. To find out what was causing the problem (printer of PC) I've
installed the printer on my Laptop. Also XP and used same
drivers.Installation succeeded without any problem, but ... no printing. But
it does not give any error
The printer still works because when I push the "COPY"-button on the
printer, it makes a perfect copy.
Now the strangest thing is: after making a copy by pushing the button on the
printer, the printer works fine again. When sending a task to the printer
now, it's executed!! After rebooting, it won't print again.
So each time I boot the computer, I have to make a copy first to be able to
print normally.
