I'm trying to share My Video, My Music and My Picture folders over my home network. My goal is to be able to stream them to my PS3.
I had it all working, then i got a new hard drive for my media, and moved all of my media content to it from my old hd (secondary hd, not the one w/ the OS on it).
Now, on my PS3 when i click on my computer as a server it only recognizes a few of the many folders, and only a couple of the files.
I have many seasons of tv shows that i've recorded, but for instance, w/ the Simpsons it will only recognize 4 episodes from season 20 and none of the rest, although they are all in the same format.
It only recognizes 3 songs out of the 30+ gb of music i have (in mp3, i know m4a doesn't work on the ps3).
But the wierdest is that it doesn't even show the folders i have in the shared directory. Even if incompatible media were in those folder it should still display them... I'm stumped

Thanx for any help
and i'm sry if i started to ramble

My computer is:
AMD: Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2886 MHz
Mobo: Gigabyte M57SLI-S4 v.2
RAM: 4GB Mushkin DDR2 PC2-6400
OS: Vista 64bit SP2
VC: EVGA 8800 GTS 320MB
Router: NetgearWGR614 v8
