The computer im running on is:

Windows Xp 64-bit
Motherboard:Asus P5QL Pro
Ram: 3gb 2Samsung 1 gb1 Avant 1gb
Hardrive: Seagate 250gb
Processor: Intel Core2Quad Q6600
Ghapic Card: BFG Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT OC 512 mb DDR3
Power Supply: Thermaltake Black Widow 850w

while i can be playing the game and the screen goes black but i can still hear people in vent and the vent key doesnt. still logged in game. Most of the time it does it is when im raiding and/or pvpin. when it does it sound like the tower turn off for a sec but stays on. i when thru 2 intel motherboard with this pc but just to the asus motherboard. same problem when i switch processors. got a new vidoe card same problem. only 2 part that r the same is the ram and hardrive. did all this before i was told about this website :??:

Try memtest86, mixing ram is not advised.

Did the memtest86 passed with 100% no errors. Took the ram that didnt match out of the pc and still had the same problem.

Graphics drivers? ive had similar issues coming out of standby where the pc is on but no video signal is picked up. You could try a system restore or remove your graphics drivers completely and re-install, cleared up my problem..... for now.

just did a system restore about 3 day ago. if was the video then why is it missing with my keyboard and no letting me still talk on vent

I had a similar issue recently. Turned out to be a malfunctioning\overheating vid card.
