Hi...so, I got GTA IV for christmas (do you already know where this is going). Yea...I thought, hey my system is decent. I should be able to play it at least at minimum settings right? No way...so 1000$ later here is my system:

Mobo: Gigabyte EP45-UD3p
CPU: Intel Core 2 duo E8400 3.0ghz
Ram: OCZ Platinum 4 gig DDR2 1066
Graphics: two Radeon 4850 512mb crossfirex enabled ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814161244 )
PSU: 700 watt OCZ ModxStream Pro
Case: Cooler Master 690

...anyway..that game is still running slow. I know that it should at least run on low settings. When I run the benchmarks it seem to be ok, but I still can't play it cause it goes slow. Here is the lsat benchmark test I ran:

Statistics
Average FPS: 42.55

System memory usage: 55%
Video memory usage: 70%

Graphics Settings
Video Mode: 1920 x 1200 (60 Hz)
Texture Quality: Medium
Render Quality: High
Reflection Resolution: Medium
Water Quality: Medium
Shadow Quality: Medium
View Distance: 24

Can anyone please help me before I smash my computer to peaces?

OC your CPU, and turn the resolution down. 1920x1200, come on.

I guess your resolution is too high. I play at 1680x1050 with my 4870. Results are very good

for those of you that are giving me **** for spelling a word wrong...thanks...when you learn 5 other languages get back to me. sorry that i insulted your intelligence while writing my post enraged.

anyway...i tried reducing my resolution. it doesn't do anything. besides, all the other games run fine on it. i know gta is not crysis or far cry 2, but it should still be running ok. the reason for a high res is because i have a 24" monitor and that is the native resolution and shouldn't 2 4850's be good enough?
