Currently Intel supports DDR266 synchronously. DDR400 modules have been on the market for a long time, but noone can take advantage of them without overclocking or going asynchronous.

How long will it take before I can have a P4 mobo with 800 MHz FSB and DDR400 dual channel memory? And a CPU that takes advantage of it?

Um.. mid april Springdale will be release with 800FSB P4... Probably at the begining of may they will both be readily available... don't expect it to be cheap though.. the cpu will likely cost 1k CDN.. and the mobo 200-300 CDN...

But I would wait the 2 weeks even if your not getting them to take advantage of the lowered prices... of the current cpus and mobos

To err is human... to really screw things up you need a computer!
