Set print area in windows 7

How do I set the print area in Excel with Windows 7? When I do a print preview the entire document appears but when I print only part of the document prints.

An easy way to do it is to select the portion of the spreadsheet you want to print (click-drag highlights the selected cells). When you have the correct cells selected use "Print" - in the Print dialogue box find the "Print What" section and choose the "Selection" option.
