memory slot

does it matter on a KT400 (a7v8x) chipset board what memory slot(s)are used , I'm using slot 3 ( 1x512 corsair pc3200)because it's further away from processor and figured there would be more room for air to circulate around , is this Ok or should I use slot 1 ??

Your fine. A7V8X isn't picky on what slots you use. Dual DDR is on the AvN8X is though.

If it ain't broke, take it apart & see why not!
