Has anyone overclocked with their sis655 yet? Not that I'm an overclocker but I might convert :) just wondering if anyone has tweaked anything yet with this chipset. I was reading that the p4 2.4B (what I have) is a decent chip to overclock with.

But they do it on the 845 chipset. I'm probably going to pick up a decent heatsink/fan sometime this weekend, but since I never really overclocked before I'm not sure where to start. the asus p4sdx has a pretty solid bios..I didnt even have to open the case up to clear the settings when I was trying different memory timmings. If the machine doesnt post after a incompatible adjustment, just power off and back on and it resets to default values. Very cool.

I've seen people get 160-166MHz bus out of them. That takes a 2.4B to 2.9-3.0GHz.

you would have to adjust the voltage aslo to get it to function at that speed right?

Hmm, hard to say how far you can go before you need to raise vcore.
