Hey, I've been hearing some stuff about Sins, and I was wondering if anybody could clear some things up. I know that Entrenchment is coming out soon, but I've also heard about a lot of mini expansions to the game to trickle in new things. Can anyone shed some light on this? I haven't played Sins in a long time, due to the fact it wouldn't let me connect to games when I use my router.

Sins of a Solar Empire is one of my favorite games. I mostly play it at LAN parties with my friends. They patch it quite a bit to balance it and add UI improvements and stuff. They don't add much new content (which you would expect to see in an expansion or anything) but they support the game a lot. I just bought entrenchment, but haven't played it yet.

Okay, but what I remember is that I patched it up to version 1.5, which was supposed to fix the network problems but didnt. I got fed up and haven't played the game since. I was perusing the stardock website and saw something about having micro-expansions released one after the other, leading up to a retail expansion that would include all of them. Is this true, or do I not remember correctly?
