Confession: I Played Softcore the Other Night

Saturday night - Rube and Vixy had to split and Bongo was exhausted
from the all day hike.

Kaytie had just whispered about something and I headed into the agd
game. Wow there were people in there.

Kaytie, Jerry and I headed into Hell SC so I could get my Bowazon
through Ancients and Baal. Jerry sent his pally to search out Duriel.

Kaytie's pally and the Bowazon had a great battle with the Ancients.

Thank God for Goblin Toe Boots otherwise Kaytie's pally wouold have ben
the only person on the Summit dishing out damage to those Old Men.

WSK had some crazy ass baddies in it. Kaytie brung in the NecroKat. We
made a detour to the tombs to help Jerry and two others joined the
game. One had to be WizOfWuz cuz the character was WizOfBow. They
joined the search for Duriel. After pummeling Duriel we headed back to
the WSK while jeeryh eaded to Kurast. He might have gotten another
character to join us in the WSK - I forget.

Then who shows up - SURPRISE apis aka RainbowMan, but it was the IK
barb that was born out of the Team Rainbow venture.

Damn a whole shebang of partyers. Been so long since I seen a crowd
that size in an agd game. Only thing missing was "Hey yo" and Jabber.

So the Bowazon is finished. Now I have to get my SC necro through. When
will I do that? I am addicted to Hardcore. I am just gonna have to show
up at times and play with the old friends.

Can't let Bongo and Rube and Vixy have all of lovable ol' me.

Oh, is it confession time?
Very well. I confess. I have been playing SC lately too. I finally got
my cousin to buy his own copy of the game and I have been shepherding
(sp?) him for the last two weeks. He is learning, but he still dies every
so often. Me? Nope, not yet, but we are only up to act 4 in normal. I
sure came close the other night when we tried to off the big D. I am
playing a necro and he is a druid. My minions were gone after two circles
of fire, my clay golem lasted just a little longer, as I was recasting him
for the third time I saw my cousin die also. So, there I am, a
skellimancer with no skellies, just a clay golem, trying to take on D all
alone. Oh, btw, did I mention I had a third (mule) character sitting back
at camp? So the monsters were spawning at /players 3 levels. I finally
just cast a TP and bailed. We (I) have decided we need at least another
level or two each before trying him again. I am only level 28 (no revives
or FG yet) and he is 31, but he has probably messed up his skill point
allocations a bit, this IS his first character after all.

Yeppers, that was me.
All of my Characters start with wizof just so there's no question
who it is.

Hi

yeah it was fun playing in a big hell game for a change I miss it. It
was nice seeing ya again away from hc . I just signed up on amazon
basin since some ppl here said it was nice place and maybe I can find
more big hell games without having to do publics.

Hee hee! Maybe I can find time to get my SC necro into Hell and then
set him loose with you and whoever is around. Maybe with the necro I
can just let the skellies and golem and revives handle things and I can
play Nik's PS2 game for him while Nik sneeks the necro along with you
all.

That was my IK Barb - Iwas_Mortal - helping wizofwas' Zon kill baal. We had
just finished Saturday TeamNecro session.

And the IK Barb is fun to play, especially he own everywhere yet still die
cheaply in NORMAL CS.
