Somehow in my initioal set up I have an administrator account and a user
account. I have already set up a lot of software ect on the user account. I
am now attempting to download other various software but I get the error
message that I dont have access to do that.....I only really need one
account...can I consolodate them or change my user account into the
administrator account??

Thanks!

Yes - log on as The Administrator and change your user account to
administrator.

Do NOT be tempted to try to delete the Administrator account (you can't)
or use that account as your day-to-day user account - it's your only way
into the machine should your user account corrupt.
