I have a new amd phenom II x6 1055T with broken pins. Accidently bent a few and some broke off when I was bending them back. My HUGE loss could be your gain if you know how to fix this. I have heard a jeweler can do this kind of soldering, I was quoted 50$ myself and I have heard of others doing better. I am also looking to buy an am2 motherboard if anyone has.

Sounds like me. I had bent 2 pins and they broke off when I was bending them back. I eMailed AMD and they replaced it free. If you want a good MB i'm selling mine. ASUS M4A88T-M Motherboard - AMD 880GX - DDR3 - USB 2 SATA 3 Gb/s I bought in Jan 2011, then i bought ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 - AMD 890GX - DDR3 - USB 3 SATA 6 Gb/s in 3/11. I'll sell eather.
I have the M4A89GTD on amazon for $125. its $158 new. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003964KK8
And the M4A88T-M for $109, New is $126.

If your CPU is new and you have the receipt you can try AMD customer service. Just explain what happened.
