What is a graphic card found in laptop

If it's for a laptop, 99% of the time you can't upgrade it. And if you are asking, I'm sure you don't have one of the 1% of the laptops with an upgradable video card.

Unless you have a laptop older than 4-5 years, whatever video card and hardware you have should run Windows 7. Just make sure you have at least 1gig of RAM. It may be slow, but not any slower than XP.

Hi Christina,

There are a wide range of graphic cards available, for a wide range of prices. I think this Gizmodo article will help you choose the right card for you - http://gizmodo.com/5569723/the-best-graphics-cards-at-every-price

You can also check out the Windows 7 Compatibility Center for a large list of compatible graphic cards - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?l=en-us&type=Hardware&s=graphic%20card

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Cassandra

EDIT: I missed that this is for a laptop...If it is indeed a laptop, you will likely not be able to change the graphics card as hang-the-9 pointed out.
