I am thinking of puting a system together of the MSI K7N2L motherboard, a 2100+ Athlon, Radeon 9500 pro, and 2 x 256MB Kingston Value Ram. Would this be a good combination for a gaming/entertainment/homework computer? Also will this ram work for dual channel memory?

* With the recent price drop on the XP 2400+ processor it may be a better option to go with that.

* For RAM, i've seen positive feedback from the use of Corsair XMS and TwinMos memory modules. TwinMos being the cheaper of the two.

* Should also note that the said motherboard doesn't feature the nVidia APU (great audio). I would look for an nforce2 motherboard with that feature for a computer that will be used for games/entertainment. Epox 8RDA+ cost about the same as K7N2L - may differ depending on location - and it features the nVidia APU.

* Great graphics card choice.
