Planning a new system

Monitors?
19" Sony G-400 (or G-420, as i heard someone saying there´s
a new 19 " monitor from Sony)
21" Sony G-500 or if your not tight on your budget you can go for the F500R (the best one there is from Sony!)

The GDMFW900 refered to in the title
is a 24" dia. wide-screen from sony
2304x1440 res.
approx $2400 USD
is there anything better?

Sorry, but the Compaq MV940 is the best 19" monitor. It has such a crisp pretty picture. Plus the monitor itself is beautiful, and it has the depth of a 17" monitor! The only downside is that it comes with a $500 price tag. But if you can afford it, you'll love it!

Nothing that Compaq is able to deliver gets near the quality of a Sony monitor!
I´ve worked with Compaq monitors and i know what i´m saying!
I said this many times already, the only piece of hardware from Compaq that is any good is their Servers (and that´s
not saying they are good!)
