Im getting a new motherboard to replace my old one very soon. Im leaning towards a MSI K7N2G-ILSR or an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe. What do you guys think I should get. Ive been reading some bad things about the K7N2 and great things about the Asus.

* A lot of negative user feedback on ILSR.

* Abit NF7-S Revision 2.0 is a good quality board. Whether you go asus or abit try to get the latest revision if possible. In the US you can get Rev 2.0 of NF7-S and Rev 2.0 of A7N8X Deluxe from ExcaliberPC.

What bad things you've heard about MSI K7N2G-ILSR? In fact, people have much more problem with ASUS A7N8X Deluxe. Actually both of them are good, most problems are memory related.

Go for MSI K7N2G-ILSR. It's faster and cheaper

Do you need integrated graphics, or are you planning on using an AGP graphics card? Do you want integrated sound, or are you planning on using a PCI sound card?

Answer those two questions, and we can answer yours.

I have a strong feeling that we just hear more about the a7n8x because they sell more boards, not necessarily because MSI is better or ASUS is worse.
