Hello,
I have a Toshiba laptop with windows 7, cricket broadband. Anyways ive been looking around and Im not totaly sure but was told I was able to change my IP address, is this so?

If your connected directly to your ISP's modem and you don't have a static I.P, i.e you get your I.P via DHCP, your ISP normally cycles the I.P's every few days to remove dead links and return the I.P's back to the pool for new users.

You can try and force an I.P refresh by disconnecting the modem for an hour or so and reconnecting.

If your connecting via wireless, then your I.P is being issued by the router and the router is getting the I.P from your ISP via the modem.
