SATA/RAID

I'll have to study about SATA/RAID but in the mean time,

IF you had a mainboard with SATA Raid only (not the standard SATA) and a single SATA hard drive, can you connect the the hard drive to it, or should you only connect it to the standard type SATA- not Raid type.

You will be okay to go.....They wouldn't put SATA on it at all if it was RAID only.
