Tablet pc suggestions 300USD price range

Hey guys I was wondering what would be the best tablet pc at price range arround 300 USD (250-350) i would like 10'' display.
The one I was considering was the Archos 10.1 internet tablet https://store.archos.com/archos-internet-tablet-p-5005.html , but i see they dont update their tablets to new android systems, all 7'' tablets have 2.1 and Archos dont give the 2.2 upgrade and i really doubt that I will be able to install Honeycomb3.0 on that, ill have to crack it i think, so guys a little help here please (=

The only one I have messed with is a xoom but its 2x as much as your budget and what I would spend also.

I will recommend you the Asus Eee Pad Transformer the 16GB version, pretty good specs from a good reputation OEM Asus.

+1 for the suggestion by wangwang but if you need to be under $300 and cant go to $400 for the transformer then i suggest the nook color, when rooted it is a great little 7" tablet and you can install CM7 or some honeycomb rom from XDA and best of all it is only $250

I know this is old but I did end up getting a 32g xoom for 199.oo at christmas.
From verizon, They may end up with more sales. To get rid of old stock. Also you can find playbooks pretty cheap listed around as they are trying to get rid of them also
