Hi,
I have bought AMD Phenom II X4 940, MSI DKA790GX Platinum. My old configuration is AMD Athlon X2 6000+, MSI K9AGM3-F with DDR2 667MHz, Samsung 250GB SATAII, 400Watt Thermaltech PS, 17" ViewSonic Monitor. My question is will Geforce 9600GT will be fully compatible with the new configuration or should I go for ATI Graphics card?

It will work fine, but it's fairly weak compared to that processor. I'd go with a Radeon HD 4870.

Or, if you've got a bit extra cash, wait a couple weeks for the ATI 4890

Or if you don't want to spend to much go for the ATI 4850.

Yup, I am planning to go for ATI 4890, but I have to wait for that some more time. But my main query is as mainboard driver takes only SouthBridge when I tried to install with 9600GT activated then will 790GX chip will work fine or not as it manages PCI-e's and USB etc? Will there be any issue?
