My Chaintech 7NJS was a faulty board, and I RMAed it. Now I have a credit for a free board, which one should I get?

eBay, kick ass!

If foc just get the most expensive one, that's A7N8X Deluxe. You have nothing to lose, if Asus don't fit in, just exchange again for Epox. :)

the only differences between them are: Epox has best service, Asus has best option package in the board. I have RDA (plain) and it works with everything, even MX300 and Win2k are chuckling along without any compat troubles as they where on VIA, and Asus one has some issues as I can follow here, but have not tried it myself, don't need all "options" which will go away with the board when I sell the puter to someone in a while.

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...

The Asus has the best features included but the Epox has the best overclocking options. It depends on what you want.

Decide what features you want/need on the mobo. This will answer your question. Asus and Epox are great boards. If you don't need the extra features on the Asus, get the Epox and plow your savings into better memory or GPU.

Check what board revisions your supplier has as the newer ones support 200mhz FSB - I know the ASUS rev 2.x board does but couldn't say about the others.

Vorsprung durch Dontwerk.....as they say at VIA
