I would not worry about putting yourself in a position that would prevent you from your path. No matter what you do in the negative is only a learning experience and you will not slide back on the path.
Except you may have to contend with the female aspect even though the Madam sensed it was disasterous. There is a secret Chakra point between your anus and your sex organs and on occasion you may feel pressure there indicating the female aspect of the physical self. This has nothing to do about being gay or wierd, it becomes a balance of the energy within yourself. The one thing you have to remember is that if someone tells you that you can't do something or you have to something to be within their graces, it is coming from the wrong side of the Buddha nature. Sometimes you have to question the thought of their actions and ask them if they are lying and ask if it is the truth.

The Buddha nature will not tell you to do anything, it will only make suggestions, and usuually the suggestion will come in a dream or vision and are very difficult to understand, even occasionaly they may be in cartoon or animations. You may even see geometric or line patterns used as a pre-empt or warning that something very important is coming to you in your sleep or daytime activities.

The best thing is not to worry, relax and do not put importance on anything.

Last time I checked, duct tape was silver on one side and white on the other. Some would argue that those two colors are light. (Just being facitious).
