I am told one must use a log in password, instead of keeping it blank &
pressing Enter.
Is keeping password ,helpfull to maintaing windows cleen from viruses or
avoding spware hacking.
What is the way of registering the same?
Also i have been told that making a guest user is also helpfull, could you
let me know the importance of the same.

Neither is mandatory on a home system. A login password is necessary if you
or someone else will be accessing the computer remotely (probably not). If
you set a password, make a Password Reset Disk. See:
