Hey guys,

So I was fortunate enough to win a brand new ATI Radeon 6850 in a contest from AMD on Twitter (exact model/specs forthcoming).

However, I'm not much of a gamer, I use Adobe CS5 products much more, so I'd rather have an Nvidia card that can utilize Adobe's hardware acceleration.

Anyone want to offer a trade (plus cash from you or me if needed) for an Nvidia card? Let me know, thanks!

Update

Okay guys, the card just came in today!

It's a XFX HD-685X-ZNBC Radeon HD 6850 Black Edition.

Looks to be worth around $185. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

It also comes with a download code for the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat which appears to be worth about $10 if you want it I'll throw it in.

Here are some pics:

Let me know if you are interested and your exact offer and we can go forward! Hoping to end up with a graphics card plus cash as needed that is worth approximately the same as what I got here but I want to be fair as possible.

I'll think I'd trade my GTS 250 (512MB). You might want something better than that, but let me know if you're interested.

That could work with a bit of cash on top...let me check up on pricing.

FYI AMD told me I'd have the card by the end of the week so then I'll have the exact specs of this unit.

I'd trade my 240, 250 or 260 for it :p

GTX 260 could work...again I'm gonna have to wait to check up on exact pricing of things so we can make sure the deal is fair but I'm glad there's interest, stick around and I'll have solid info in just a few days!

Just let me know. It is a brand new card (old one died and this is the RMA given back to me). It is an evga and has a lifetime warranty on it.

Warrantee from evga do not transfer. Also if you sent it back in the last year to get fixed/replace they gave you a refurbished card in return as they no longer have new gtx 260's at evga.

a 6850 is 150 after rebates to 170$ for some versions.

Even if you're not much of a gamer, a GTX 260 is a better choice than a GTS 250. They both go for around the same price nowadays (based off of Newegg prices) and a GTX 260 is much faster.

A GTX 460 1GB would be roughly a straight trade (no cash): http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/313?vs=291

im not sure if you were looking for high end graphics card but I have a evga gtx 480 sc with backplate.

it has all the original boxes and i used it for about 6 months.

Im not sure how much more cash i would want but maybe we can work something out.

email me at tvvism@yahoo.com because it goes straight to my phone.

i have ebay account and all that or however ppl trade stuff here on tomshardware.

thank you.

BTW reason why i want a ati radeon is so i can use a single gpu for 3 monitors. with nvidia i need to sli.
