I just installed NOLF2 on my new VISTA Laptop and it looks beautiful and seems perfect, except... the music works but no other sound! I can't hear any voice or sound effects at all. Am I missing something? I assume that I'm being an idiot and it's a simple fix (hoping anyway), because the music sounds great! I have checked the settings in-game and all volume levels are turned up.
I would appreciate any help:)

Its an old title, theres probably some imcompatabilities with Vista. Are you using any kind of sound card?

your still playing it, i guess we all have our classics and novelties, like pr2thej said, sound card is important, but also, is there a config tool that comes with the game, such as a diff config exe in the start menu when it is installed, you may have to tell the program in this way wich audio device to use for audio. (could be in the menus too, but im not familiar with the game)

patch... if you havent done so... http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=1253
try running as admin and in compatability mode for 95 or 98....or XPsp2
hopefully one of those would work

hey there. I also have this problem and im running on a pc win xp sp3 i dont have any sounds but if i install this old codec pack called nimo codec pack i hear some sounds but no music or voice so im guessing its smtg to do with some sound codecs, the game comes with a small instaler WMFADist witch tries to instal Windows media tachnologies but it failes coz i guess my win is much newer then the kit,i searched all over and i tried just about everything..pach, lower hd acceleration, diffrent compatibility mode etc..and nothing works so far....anyone have some other ideeas? tnx.
