Bought new system opinions needed mobo/ram

Ok here is what I have so far. I was going to buy a pent 4 and came out with an AMD Barton 2500.

Amd Barton 2500
Antec Sonata Tower/case with 380w ps
Vantec Aeroflow
Geil pc 3200 Ram 1 gig
MSI k72nl

Ok I returned the motherboard(there was nothing wrong) and am getting the Abit NF7-S V2.0 motherboard. I was also thinking of bringing the Ram back and getting Corsair PC3200 CAS 2(1 gig). Opinions, problems?
Should I be looking at something else? I am new to overclocking, but am open to trying it.
