I used mandrake 10 CE to re-partition my windows drive and it worked like a champ.
Unfortunately my pc hardware is still too new (year and a half old) for linux. So i give up wasting my time trying to get my 9800pro to work and my sound to work.
I just want to get rid of this junk edition to free up my hard drive space and hopefully find a new distro to try.

Since i'm a complete newb when it comes to linux.. i need some help. :D So.. tell me what to do :D

Dur i just found a recent post with the same question ^^

So as the edited part.. does anyone have a distro where i'm more involved with linux itself instead of just being in a windows box.. and not only that.. but does anyone have their nf7-s and their 9800pro working perfectly(NOT CHOPPY).

9800 pros work fine (even though ATI's linux drivers are sh!t right now). Not as fast as windows, but definitely playable in UT2004 and what not.

There is no real problem with hardware being too new for linux. There are drivers for pretty much everything.
