HELP! a7n8x bios prob

I'm hoping someone can help me with a BIOS problem that cropped up tonight.

I installed a Soyo Bayone (internal smartmedia, secure digital, etc card reader/writer) drive. The instructions said to connect to the CMOS jumpers on the mb (which seemed strange) in addition to the firewire and usb headers, I did as it said and now i get a blue screen that says "The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant...blah, blah blah". I've since removed the retarded drive and reset CMOS, but it still gives the same screen. PLEASE help me!

here's the specs:
a7n8x deluxe revision 1.04 w/1002 bios
1024mb corsair xms pc2700
WD 80gig special edition
visiontek geforce3 ti200

the 1.0x revision is a dud.
rma if possible for a 2.0 revision.
my 1.03 rev is FUBAR (ACPI is defunct, IDE controller probs, etc) am gonna get a new one (can't RMA, too old >-(
