Does anyone know how you get that SATA(what is sata) RAID thing to go away on start up. I dont use raid but am not sure how to disable the detection process...It takes much longer to boot.
During some Gameplay (specifically C&C Generals) the game quits out either to desktop or reboots completelyafter about 30 mins of gameplay. I have heards problems like this before, but no real solutions. Any thoughts? Is this a Windows XP issue?

I have 1.06 board with bios revision 1.02a Should I upgrade BIOS> will it help ? I'v Heard mixed reviews on this subject.

To disable Serial ATA ( the newest, fastest standard for connecting next generation hard drives), you've got to look in your manual (page 19, I believe), and read which jumper to change. It should be the one just to the <i>lower</i> right hand side of the CMOS battery. As for shutdown during gameplay, I've had the same problem. I had more problems when I tried Service Pack 1, but it's happened once or twice with regular Win XP, too. I don't know what's doing it.
