Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows of any recent (2009) breaches in Steam? My parents just had to change their credit card number because supposedly somebody hacked Steam and stole many credit card numbers. If there was a breach, would Valve let us know?

It can happen to anything online; if it does, just take extra care to watch your credit statement for a month or two.

Alternativly, ask your parents for a Credit Card with a $200 (or less) spending limit.
