I'm missing my old hobby around games, searching own codes for games and having fun with them and fun with searching.
It was mostly on playstation (psx) with explorer (/xplorer) and with windows 98 PC (after xp X-Link95 software not working)

But now, I'm thinking is there some softwares for nowadays PC singleplayer games? Time ago I used something software for PC but later it stopped working, I used it to Aliens Versus Predator (1).

Is there some which would work on XP or even with Vista?

Install MS virtual mahine and then Win 98 and enjoy all your old games

No, my point was to do ram editing into nowaday games, PC singleplayergames, like Tomb Raider Underworld for an example.
