Java problem when setting up 2nd user

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.newusers (More info?)

Created second user - when logging in it immediately puts up installation
error - can close and continue - was able to go to eBay on internet but could
not search - discovered that a java registry key was missing - tried
redownloading java - same problem - any suggestions?
