I have a IBM Thinkpad T22 with Pentium III mobile 900Mhz and planned to upgrade it to a Pentium III Mobile 1000Mhz. I was thinking would be possible??Or do i need to upgrade the fan as well?

That would probably work, it will run hotter and the battery won't last as long but it "should" work.

It would help little to upgrade the processor, Performance promoting are very limited.
