New build fired up 1st time but can't get my old ISP (DSL) to connect. They have irritated me and I'm thinking of switching to WiFi. DSL was 10mbs and WiFi would be either 1 or 3 mbs depending on money. I play COD2 and want to play COD4 and 5. Will I notice a difference in these different connection speeds? Appreciate any input.

I don't get it... this is in your house right? In any case, if you're talking about 10mbps vs. 1-3 mbps for network gaming, I don't think there'll be a significant difference, since online games use much less bandwidth than 1mbps, if I'm not mistaken.

your connection is suck thats all !!

dsl is better in playing online games and other mmosrp.

maybe because there is a antivirus are current running in your PC while your playing your game...

try to turn it off and activate it later after you play...

Haha, 3mbps... I play TF2 with no lag on a WiFi connection that peaks at 160KB/sec on a GOOD day. You should have NO problem with 1mbps.
