MSI i875P confusion

MSI's website lists two Canterwood mobos, the NEO-FIS2R and the NEO-LSR. The recent THG mobo round-up gave a less-than-glowing review to an MSI board it called the NEO (MS-6758), while a couple weeks ago, the folks at AnandTech gave a very positive review of the NEO-FIS2R.

Are the two reviews for the same board, or was the THG review for the NEO-LSR, or is it even more confusing than that?

Thanks in advance,
Jim

Looks like they're the same board. Here's what I found.

<A HREF="http://www.tomshardware.com/motherboard/20030519/i875p-18.html" target="_new">THG's review</A>
<A HREF="http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.html?i=1820&p=2" target="_new">AnandTech's review</A>
<A HREF="http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID=434&MODEL=MS-6758" target="_new">MSI site</A>

If you look closely at the pictures of the mobo shown by the above 3 sites, you'll see they're all the same.

<A HREF="http://www.tomshardware.com/motherboard/20030519/images/msi_big.jpg" target="_new">Picture from THG</A>
<A HREF="http://images.anandtech.com/reviews/motherboards/msi/neo-fis2r/mb.jpg" target="_new">Picture from AnandTech</A>

Futhermore, it's clearly shown in the MSI site that NEO (MS-6758) is the name of product series which contains
both NEO-FIS2R and the NEO-LSR. So they're just the same thing.

Thanks. I see now that the MSI site says the LSR doesn't have all the features of FIS2R, and so the board reviewed by THG must have been the FIS2R.

I could swear that information wasn't available on the MSI site yesterday when I looked.

Thanks again.
