Help with installing BALDURS GATE 2 SHADOWS OF AMN

Allright, i know it´s a very old game, but I just wanted to try it again since it´s awsome.
I´ve searched most forum threads but couldnt find a specific answer. any replys are welcome.

So...
I installed baldurs gate 2 and expansion under an administrator user (or profile w/e) on windows xp. I had no problems playing it. All worked fine.

But the thing is...

I tried installing it under another user (profile) that didnt have admin privileges. Loaded the cd and installed it using the 'run as...' option. The problem was that after the installation was complete everytime I would load the cd again to play it... instead of a ''play'' button there was a ''install'' button, as if the game hadnt been installed.

I right-cliked on "baldurs.exe" on the game´s installation folder and used the 'run as...' option and it worked again.

I would like to know if there's anything I can do to be able to run it without being the administrator.
