Seeking to go the laptop route as I travel alot with my work. My loss is your gain on this, as it runs every program/game i've thrown at it very smoothly, and will continue to do so as hardware is far past software advancement lately.
Parts: Intel i5 (quad), overclocked to very stable 3.8 ghz constant - runs cool at 38C (now in summer) at idle, and 44C when gaming Noctua NH-U12P Heatsink
Arctic Cooling MX-2 and Noctua NT-H1 thermal pastes included. Barely used.
Coolermaster HAF 922 Case - great case, not one of those cheap plastic ones with too many led's - 2 200mm fans, 3 120mm fans (green led). Tons of slideable drive bays, dust filters on front for easy cleaning, wired cleanly, and has ports for water cooling if you ever want it. Surprisingly quiet as well. Has front USB/esata port and holder tray as well.
ECS P55H-A Motherboard - great audio / lan setup, and big enough to fit any video cards with case combo. Still have the boxes/cd's.
4gb G.Skill Ripjaws F3-12800 CL-9D 1600 ram - solid ram that can be overclocked if wanted.
MSI ATI Radeon HD 5770 1gb - has directx 11 and 3rd monitor slot - runs Eyefinity as seen in 4th screenshot - still have the box/cd's if wanted. Was never overclocked but can be done easily if wanted.
Corsair TX 750W power supply - 5 year warranty - Still have box. Best brand for PSU's and more than anyone would need.
3 Hard Drives - 7200 rpm (500gb, 200gb, 200gb).
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (if needed)
All parts were chosen for performance, reliability, and warranties, many which are still in effect.
Looking for $730 but would consider fair laptop trade.
yea. i work for a living from my computer so I would rather do the whole laptop / cafe thing...especially since space is an issue living in a city.
otherwise i'd definitely keep this as it hasn't had any issues in anything, and i run all games from med - > max settings just fine.
