Halo 2 (For Windows) keeps crashing

hi all ive just got halo 2 for windows vista and ive installed it fully but wen i go to load the game it comes up with saying halo 2 then gos to a wihite screen and makes the pc crash. does any one know how i can make it work? thanks

i fix it the game don't like wen you have SLI on had the same prob with gears of war lol
